For those of you that don't know me (that's pretty much the entire population of the planet), my name is Rod Gasson, and my 'claim to fame' is from writing software for the C64/128. My 'flagship' program is a C128 offline mail reader called QWKRR.

I have also written a rather 'unique' file reader for the C128 called Browser.

However, this is NOT a QWKRR or Browser support page, nor is it a personal page. It is simply my own default page that I used to use as a starting point for Web browsing from my ISP, VCSWEB.COM, a small system with several dozen users, and hosting web pages for approximatly 50 different domains.

If you want personal info about me I suggest you check out Gaelyne's Web site.

My Resume..

When searching for products or information, I use Yellow Pages , and the White Pages.
For a library full of good information check out Washington University data archives.

VCR/Camcorder Manufacturers
A VCR/Camcorder tech by trade, I like to check out what the various manufacturers are going to dump out for me to repair next year. The companies that have shown up on the web so far are: (Keep in mind, this was back in 1997).

Sony Philips Sharp
Sanyo Panasonic JVC
National Semi-Conductors (National/Panasonic)

Local TV:
During the course of my work I was required to watch a lot of TV.
I like to check out what the various local stations are up to.

ABC TV Channel 7 Channel 9
TEN SBS

For checking on movie reviews, I use IMDB: The Internet Movie Database

Video and Electronic Magazines:
For electronics info, I usually start out using:

Since I often deal with, and phone people and places overseas, I couldn't get by without a Currency Converter and a World Timezone Converter.
